Don’t Believe in Jet Lag are a small food blogging start-up with big ideas and even bigger appetites. With their down to earth, matter of fact writing style, and contagious passion for food, their appeal is due to the fact they really get the lowdown on what you want to know about: the food. They approached me with the idea of making the content of their website available as a guide book, with complete creative freedom over style and basic branding.
The first of these guides is a city which DBIJL know well: Beirut. It’s a city between cultures and tastes, with influences from Europe and the wider Middle East found in abundance. Most of the guide book centers around Beirut’s many neighborhood’s, with other parts of the book dedicated to recipes, history and tailored itineraries.
